We learnt about Romania's historical heritage.
We learnt that the Cotroceni Palace was built by the French architect Paul Gottereau for the king Carol I.
It was transformed and used in many ways. A notable transformation was during Ceausescu's period where it was transformed into a luxurious residence to host foreign guests.
The Cotroceni palace is now a national museum open to the public.
